Ian Abels is a Senior Product Manager at Braze, where he builds BrazeAI, with a focus on BrazeAI Operator. Over seven years at Braze he has moved from Solutions Architect to Product, pairing deep technical depth with product judgment shaped by working alongside some of Braze's most sophisticated customers. Before BrazeAI, he led the launch of several of Braze's messaging channels—including SMS, RCS, LINE, and KakaoTalk—shipping products that meet customers where they actually are across global markets. He studied Electrical Engineering at Bucknell University and, originally from Pittsburgh, now resides in Brooklyn, New York.
